Memorandum of Understanding was signed at General Headquarters today to formalize the funding of Quick Impact Projects by United Arab Emirates

A view of Memorandum of Understanding Signing ceremony held at General Headquarters to formalize the funding of Quick Impact Projects by United Arab Emirates. General Ashfaq Pazvez Kayani, Chief of Army Staff and His Excellency Ali Saif Sultan Al-Awani, Ambassador of United Arab Emirates in Pakistan, were present at the occasion on Wednesday.


A Memorandum of Understanding was signed at General Headquarters today to formalize the funding of Quick Impact Projects by United Arab Emirates. These Projects include various schemes for the social uplift and development of the areas affected by terrorism, in Swat and Federally Administered Tribal Areas. The agreement has been approved by the Government of Pakistan and the projects are being completed under the supervision of Pakistan Army.
General Ashfaq Pazvez Kayani, Chief of Army Staff and His Excellency Ali Saif Sultan Al-Awani, Ambassador of United Arab Emirates in Pakistan, headed the respective delegations at the signing ceremony.
