"Operation LABBAIK"

Army is busy in plugging the breaches on Flood Protective (FP) Bund, Mancher Containing (MC) bund and Main Nara Valley (MNV) drain in Sindh. 
Army has completed repair work of as many as 323 Schools, 88 Basic Health Units, 58 Mosques and 133 link roads in various areas of KPK, Southern Punjab and Balochistan. Army has planned to renovate 258 houses in KPK. 
Army and 5000 personals of FC Balochistan and medical teams are providing relief to stranded people of flood affected areas of Balochistan.
By the efforts of Army troops, the schools and all government institutions are coming back to routine working in the flood affected areas of Dera Murad Jamali, Dera Allahyar and surrounding areas. 
2486 stranded people of flood affected areas have returned to their homes from relief camps of Thatta in last 24 hours.
38,520 stranded people of flood affected areas have returned to their homes in Sindh from relief camps of Balochistan.
Peoples Liberation Army (PLA) China has provided Yuan 10 million grant through Pak Army to support its rescue and relief efforts. 4 PLA MI-17 helicopters have been deployed in flood affected areas of Hyderabad for rescue operations. This is the first deployment of PLA assets outside China. Besides this, 2 medical teams are also busy in providing medical facilities to flood affectees in Sahwan and Thatta areas.
Chinese Army along with Pakistan Army has provided food and fuel worth 20 million Yuan to 25,000 stranded persons in Upper Hunza / Attabad Lake Region. 
Moreover diplomats, companies and Chinese nationals in Pakistan have also made voluntary donations of over Rs. 2 million. More than six planes from China have arrived Pakistan with relief material such as food, medicines, water purifiers, tents and power generators. The Chinese Government and people continue to assist Pakistan to overcome the flood devastation.
China is one of the first countries which provided immediate relief assistance to flood affected people in Pakistan. So far, China has donated Yuan 130 million (US $ 20 million) cash / material aid to Pakistan. The Chinese Government, People's Liberation Army (PLA) and the Red Cross Society of China has donated Yuan 120 million, Yuan 10 million and US $ 50,000 material and cash. Lately Chinese government has pledged further assistance of Yuan 200 million (approx US $ 29.5 million), in addition to the already provided assistance.
